These leaders will spearhead the Chamber’s policy committees, which are critical in advancing policy priorities that foster a strong, competitive business environment in Edmonton.
Each policy chair brings a wealth of expertise and a deep commitment to driving forward initiatives that support the diverse needs of our business community. These committees are integral in shaping Edmonton's prosperous future, focusing on areas such as the arts, tourism, hospitality, energy, environment, natural resources, finance, health, trade, and workforce development.
The Chamber has long championed Edmonton businesses, advocating for policies that stimulate economic growth, attract investment, and support innovation. By engaging with government officials, industry leaders, and community stakeholders, the Chamber aims to ensure that Edmonton remains an attractive and thriving place for businesses to operate and succeed.

Finance, Budget, and Regulation Policy Committee
Concentrating on federal business tax and incentive programs and addressing affordability challenges for small businesses.

I joined the Finance, Budget, and Regulation Policy Committee to connect further in the business community, learn from diverse leaders, and contribute to positive change.
Health and Life Sciences Policy Committee
Priorities encompass health and life science innovation support across the business cycle and growing advanced manufacturing capacity in the Edmonton region.

Being part of a policy committee allows me to engage directly with stakeholders who share a common vision for advancing health and life sciences.

Trade and Industry Policy Committee
Aiming to enhance interprovincial trade and regional collaboration, as well as expand international trade opportunities for Edmonton businesses.

I joined the Trade and Industry committee to get better insight into the workings of the Chamber of Commerce and contribute to the development of business in a City that I am extremely proud to live in.
Workforce Development and Attraction Policy Committee
Focusing on regional workforce attraction strategies and workforce development supports for employers.

I joined the Workforce Development and Attraction Policy Committee in 2020, following the onset of the COVID pandemic, while working to grow our business amidst uncertainty.
My goal is to shape strategies that position Edmonton as a hub for talent, innovation, and sustainable growth, ensuring that businesses of all sizes, especially small businesses, have the workforce they need to thrive.
Arts, Tourism, and Hospitality Policy Commitee
Priorities include provincial strategies and investment in tourism, as well as provincial investment and promotion of arts and culture.
Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Policy Committee
Focus areas include provincial energy market regulations and federal industrial carbon pricing policies.
As the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce continues to inform, mobilize, and champion the business community, these committees and their chairs will be pivotal in advocating for policies that build a strong foundation for businesses to thrive.
