State of the Region Address Moves to Larger Venue Due to Popular Demand

EDMONTON, AB – The Edmonton Chamber of Commerce is set to launch a new marquee event: The State of the Region address on October 6th. After selling out in its first week, the event location has been updated to accommodate the high demand.
The State of the Region address is a panel comprised of leaders from across the Edmonton Metropolitan Region. It will now be held at the Edmonton Convention Centre on Thursday, October 6th, 2022, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and will provide opportunities to discuss the current landscape, explore economic improvement, investment attraction and a create a unified vision on regional collaboration.

Paul Jankowski – Chief Executive Officer – Edmonton Metropolitan Transit Service Commission
Tom Ruth – Chief Executive Officer – Edmonton Airports
Karen Wichuk – Chief Executive Officer – Edmonton Metropolitan Region Board
Michael Walters, former Edmonton City Councillor, regional champion, and now Senior Director of Public Relations and Strategy of Berlin Communications, will be moderating this event. This will be a critically impactful event and the conversations that result will directly contribute to the economic success of our region.

This event is presented by Keill & CO and supported by MacEwan University & (YEG) Edmonton International Airport with contributions from Alberta's Industrial Heartland Association.
